Valsen Marine, LLC is a waterfront company providing specialty construction services in the New York City area. The company's initial focus is on dock building, diving services and dredging services, with a concentration on large-scale commercial work in NYC. Valsen is also pursuing dock building and diving opportunities in the Northeast Region, and environmental dredging / waterfront remediation nationwide.

The company is led by its president, Shea Thorvaldsen, whose extensive professional experience includes five years as a director of a waterfront services division for a general contracting company in addition to over four years of waterfront design, engineering, diving and permitting. Mr. Thorvaldsen brings to Valsen significant industry knowledge, strong relationships and a history of delivering high quality, profitable projects.

Valsen Marine provides construction, remediation, and underwater services under three divisions comprised of specialty teams within the company:

Valsen's client target market includes government agencies as well as private commercial and development firms.

In July 2009, Valsen completed our first job -- the installation of Monopile Fenders (marine drilling) and removal of an existing ferry terminal (diving and dock building) for the PANYNJ. We completed the project significantly ahead of schedule and under budget.
