The scope of work included completion of the No. 1 Line box in preparation for opening of Greenwich Street to the public. The first phase included demolition of the subway structure (#1 Line box), including platform, sidewall and roof slab at the north end. Additionally, Judlau removed approximately 100 steel columns and roof beams in the center of the station. This work and other demolition along the track necessitated eight weekend general orders, which were completed in 2013. The project also included the installation of new steel and concrete in the north area to expand the platform to both the east and west. Judlau has worked on steel encasements, a duct bank at northern station limits, concrete sidewalls and masonry work.
