63rd Street Station Rehabilitation

Description:

This project is a component of the 2nd Ave Subway Program.

Judlau is modifying the existing upper and lower level platforms to convert them from one-sided platforms to island platforms.  Judlau will construct new entrances and control areas with five elevators and two escalators at 3rd Avenue and 63rd street will be constructed.

The work also includes various architectural finishes including stainless steel column covers, porcelain enamel and aluminum composite ceilings, granite floor tile and a porcelain ceramic wall tile system.
